Endomteriosis

Discover natural ways to cure endometriosis, lower inflammation, balance hormones, and improve reproductive health for better fertility results.

What is Endometriosis

The abnormal growth of endometrial tissue, which resembles the tissue lining the innermost layer of the uterus but occurs outside of it, is known as endometriosis. Monthly menstruation causes the endometrial tissue to be shed. This blood becomes trapped and forms an endometrial cyst since it has no route out. These regions of endometrial tissue are known as endometrial implants. The uterine surface, the colon, the ovaries, the Fallopian tubes, and the membrane lining the pelvic cavity (peritoneum) are the most often affected areas by these lesions. They are less frequently observed to affect the bladder, cervix, and vagina.Endometriosis can sporadically develop outside of the pelvic. There have been reports of endometriosis in the brain, lung, liver, and previous surgical scars. An ovary will fill with blood if it has endometrial tissue. These are ovarian cysts packed with ancient blood that are known as endometriomas. It looks like thin chocolate, this aged blood. Thus, it is also known as ovarian chocolate cysts. Endometriosis is frequently linked to an increased Ca-125. Pain from endometriosis can be excruciating at times, particularly when you’re menstruating.

Endometriosis & Infertility

Female infertility can occur in as many as 30% to 50% of cases with endometriosis.Especially when the degree of endometriosis is minimal, it is unclear how the condition may contribute to infertility. Mechanisms that are yet feasible include:

How to Prevent

Endometriosis cannot be completely prevented, but you can lower the risk by reducing estrogen levels in your body. Here’s how:

Diet to Reduce Symptoms

Dark green vegetables and mustard greens. Cabbages and broccoli will adjust oestrogen levels.
Consume a diet rich in whole grains (apart from wheat), nuts, legumes, fruits, and vegetables.

Location of Implants

Process of Endometriosis

  • The ovary is a common site for endometriosis.
  • When endometrial tissue grows and bleeds within the ovary, it forms a brown-colored cyst known as a chocolate cyst or endometrioma.

Infertility

An important side effect of endometriosis is infertility. It may alter the structure of the pelvis, and if implants are placed in the fallopian tubes, they may obstruct the transit of the egg. The egg may not be able to pass through the fallopian tubes, ovaries, or uterus due to adhesions. Egg release may be impeded by ovarian implants, and infertility may also be exacerbated by hormonal and ovulatory disorders. Impairment of implantation is another possibility.
